Holidaymakers 'should consider caravans this summer'

People looking to get away from it all this summer could find that a caravan holiday is just what the doctor ordered, a new article has stated.

MoneyExpert.com has stated that the increasing cost of diesel and petrol along with the steep rise of inflation has led to many families considering the best way to take a vacation on a budget.

The company added that those who can afford it should also consider buying their own static caravan - a move which could see them save in the long run.

Caravan Insurance

However, it stated that this should be accompanied by a thorough caravan insurance policy in order to keep the vehicle protected.

"Consider what happens if your caravan is damaged, accidentally or even maliciously. You can take out insurance to cover you for the key risks that might arise," commented the firm.

Meanwhile, a caravan site in Wales is doing all it can to become environmentally-friendly and reduce its carbon footprint, it has been reported.

The Daily Post has stated that the Hafan y Mor park has its own Green Team, which gets together to discuss ecologically-sound plans for the area.
