Ferry crossings 'a cheap option for caravan owners
A cheap ferry crossing to a European destination could provide the perfect way for holidaymakers to travel this summer, with one crossing provider offering a number of great deals.
Passage from Newcastle to Amsterdam is available for £132 for two people from DFDS Seaways, although those looking to bring their caravan with them can expect to pay extra.
In addition, the company is offering trips from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark, as well as Norwegian destinations Bergen and Stavanger.
But those headed away should be sure to take out a caravan insurance policy which covers their needs, in order to make sure their vehicle is protected in a variety of different scenarios.
"No hassle with airport queues, delays, baggage restrictions and stress. Just pack up the car and head off on your holiday with everything you need," the company commented.
Meanwhile, German motor club ADAC has revealed that Poland stands to be the cheapest holiday destination on the continent for those looking to get away from it all this summer.
The company added that France will be the most expensive, Business Week has reported.
