Plane crash misses caravan site
Visitors to a caravan site in Denham will be thinking themselves lucky following a collision involving a plane just yards away from the site, a news source has reported.
According to the Bucks Free Press, the vehicle was supposed to land at the Denham Aerodrome hangar but missed its target - instead coming down close to Wyatts Covert park.
The aircraft hit woods some 400 yards from the area, leaving the pilot and his one passenger shaken but not injured, the news source added.
But caravan insurance companies in the area could be forced to increase the cost of policies for people visiting nearby sites as they could consider the region an increased risk.
Meanwhile, a family in the north-west has been telling Wigan Today about its disappointment after its caravan was stolen from outside their home.
The news source has reported that Robert and Carol Moore's vehicle was targeted by thieves at around midday last Monday.
Their model, a Sprite Firebrand 473, has not been recovered by authorities in the region.
