Operator picks up caravan park
An operator of caravan holiday parks has acquired a 200-plot site in the north of Wales, according to a news source in the area.
Haulfryn Group reportedly picked up the 60-acre Woodland Halls park for an undisclosed fee, the Daily Post has reported.
The site, which will join other parks owned by the group in Anglesey, Caernarfon and Barmouth, was purchased with funding from the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Holidaymakers looking to head to a caravan site this year should be sure to take out a thorough caravan insurance policy, in order to protect their vehicle against any unforeseen occurrences such as damage or theft.
According to Mark Evans, finance director at Haulfryn, this is part of the development and growth of the company.
He said: "The new parks will enhance our existing portfolio and form part of our plans to grow the business both organically and by acquisition."
This comes as the Times & Star has commented that people living in Allerdale have voiced their concerns over caravan park plans in the region.
According to the news source, residents believe the 100-plot site could result in increased litter.
