Inspection of caravan sites set for North Wales
A number of caravan park inspections are set to get underway in North Wales, a local news source has reported.
Established to monitor the use of gas at sites and prevent the risk of explosions, the inspections will be looking into how gas is stored at the parks, according to the Wrexham Leader.
In addition, the news source stated that inspectors will be investigating ways in which traffic can be alleviated around the sites.
This could prove helpful to people with caravan insurance policies, as they may find that less traffic helps them keep their no-claims bonus intact.
Gary Martin, an inspector with the Health and Safety Executive, explained that the scheme has been set up to address two concerns.
He said: "This inspection programme is designed to ensure that sites have adequately addressed the risks associated with both traffic and gas usage."
This comes as the Gazette has reported that officials in Tendring are monitoring a small camp of caravans set up in Weeley.
According to the news source, the vehicles moved onto a site in the area over the weekend.
