Luxury caravan park set for Carnforth

People living in Lancashire will soon be able to stay at a new luxury caravan site set to be built in the region, it has been reported.

According to the Lancaster and Morecambe Citizen, the 120-plot site, which will house private vehicles, will cost £4 million, while bringing at least £2 million to the local economy.

Some 200 people will be able to take their own vehicles to the site, the news source stated, enjoying five-star treatment in the process.

Mr Holdgate, who bough both Bolton Holmes and Detrongate last year in order to make way for the park, remarked that he is looking to encourage local wildlife at the site.

It could be that those people in the area who already own caravans find that they have difficulty taking out a caravan insurance policy once the new site is developed.

This is because cover companies may consider the extra vehicles indicative of a greater threat of damage and therefore increase costs.

Meanwhile, the Skegness Standard has reported that two caravans in the area were broken into over the weekend.

According to the news source, local police are now reminding motor home owners to keep their vehicles safe.
