Katona plans caravan park

Former pop star Kerry Katona is to set up a caravan park with her husband Mark Croft, it has been reported.

According to the Sun, the former Atomic Kitten star, who has just had a baby with Croft, is planning on establishing a site on the Orkney islands.

The pair, 27 and 38 respectively, are hoping that the move will relieve some of their financial problems, including a £157,000 tax debt they were issued with last month.

Visitors to the site could find that caravan insurance policies go up if it is judged to be a success, as more vehicles may be judged as relative to an increased threat in the eyes of cover companies.

A friend told the Sun: "Mark and Kerry have been accused of being trailer trash so many times - so it's quite fitting they should chose to open a caravan park ... They think the place could be a roaring success and help ease their money worries."

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Kerry Katona carries around the ashes of her dead stepfather in a gold crucifix.

The remains are of Arnie Ferrier, a man who Katona's mother was briefly married to and who the star called her real dad.
