Family wins five-berth caravan
The family of a four-year-old with Asperger's syndrome has won a new five-berth Swift Charisma through Caravan Magazine.
Ms Andrioli nominated her family for the competition, which required entrants to outline the reasons why they deserved the mobile holiday home, reports Swift Leisure. It is hoped that the vehicle will enable the family to visit a variety of holiday locations without distressing her son whose condition needs routine and stability. Before winning, she had been forced to accept the fact that holidays each year would have to be to the same location. However, with a "home away from home", the caravan provides the stability and security that her son Matthew requires, as well as providing variety for the rest of the family.
She stated that the caravan, donated by Swift Group, was "perfect" for their needs, adding that it was "a dream come true." Richard White, Swift Group marketing director, commented: "The delight and excitement in the children's eyes clearly demonstrates that caravanning is still the ideal solution for family holidays." Vacationers thinking of going on a break of this sort should ensure that they take out caravan insurance.
The Andrioli family may wish to take their new vehicle to the Tree Tops Caravan Park in Gwespyr, which has won the Wales in Bloom competition for the 16th year in a row.
