Tree Tops wins again
Owners of static caravans at one North Wales park can once again look forward to enjoying their holidays in beautiful surroundings.
Tree Tops Caravan Park in Gwespyr, Flintshire has triumphed for a 16th successive year in the Wales in Bloom competition.
The contest is designed to encourage towns, villages, businesses and residents to make the most of the principality's natural beauty by sprucing up their gardens.
David and Christine Ball, the resident gardeners at Tree Tops, have embraced the message behind the competition and regularly produce some stunning displays for static caravan insurance customers to view.
This year's triumph in the Static or Touring, Camping and Holiday Home Sites (over 100 berths) category stemmed from their hard work over a number of years, which has seen more than 15,000 plants grown in the park.
Tree Tops' general manager Andrew Walker, told the Evening Leader he was delighted to win yet again.
He added: "The dazzling colours in the floral displays throughout the park's 15 acres are truly amazing and worth viewing - this truly is gardening on a grand scale."
Pencelli Castle Caravan and Camping won the award in the under 100 berths section.
