Debate over caravan park continues
The future of a touring caravan park in Woodhall Spa remains undecided after a debate scheduled to take place this week did not go ahead.
According to the Horncastle News, East Lindsey district council is considering closing the Jubilee Park but a debate about the site's fate and a special motion to delay its closure until next year was not undertaken at a meeting this week.
Instead, councillor Mick Harness said the motion was being withdrawn and presented a petition from local traders to those assembled for the council meeting, the newspaper reports.

Businesses in the area said closing the caravan park would have a "devastating impact" on enterprise in the area.
In a move which may appease such fears, the council is believed to be in talks with Manorcrest Homes, a developer based in Skegness, about the development of a new caravan park.
It is thought the two groups are considering the creation of a new touring caravan site in the area that could house up to 80 vehicles.
Meanwhile, a planning appeal relating to the location of the Utopia Park caravan park in Garstang has been scheduled for December.
