Insurance customers warned after theft
Caravan insurance customers are being alerted after a vehicle was stolen from a park in Lincolnshire.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the event on Bank Holiday Monday in which a caravan was stolen from Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire, reports the Louth Leader.
The vehicle was a four-berth Ace Herald cream caravan with the registration of K158 JHE.
It is thought to have been taken between 19:00 and 10:15 BST on the night and following morning of the Monday holiday.
According to the newspaper, the local police are looking for anyone who may have any information on the incident or who may have seen it.
The vehicle has a dent on the front nearside and residents are being urged to be aware of any suspicious activity.
Earlier this month a vehicle was taken from a farm in the Peterborough area, after thieves towed it through a field of corn, the Evening Telegraph reports.
The vehicle was taken from Seed Farm near Wisbech and police reported it was not secured.
It is thought the vehicle is around 15 years old and one has one axel.
Police in Bath and north Somerset are currently attempting to cut down on the number of vehicles stolen in the area after a recent increase.
The local force advises caravan owners to "park in a well-lit area take all your valuables, including your satellite navigation system, with you and secure all windows".
