Police appeal after caravan theft
Holidaymakers in Lincolnshire may want to check they have adequate caravan insurance following the news that a number of items were stolen from a caravan site in Ingoldmells.
The elderly occupants of a caravan at the Sealands caravan Site in Roman Bank were woken at 05:15 BST on Friday when a man broke in and stole handbags and other possessions, the Skegness Standard reports.
According to the newspaper, the burglar then ran off towards the beach with the items.
He has been described as being approximately six feet tall and of slim build, wearing a dark zip-up jacket.

Police are now appealing for more information or if anyone else saw the suspect that day.
Last month, the Skegness Standard reported that a man broke into a caravan at the Happy Days caravan site in Trunch Lane before demanding its occupants give him money.
Earlier this year, Lincolnshire police launched a caravan security campaigned aimed at raising awareness of the potential risks of leaving items in vehicles.
Police community support officer Chris Wood said caravan owners needed to get more security "savvy".
He said leaving caravan doors and windows ajar during the summer is "leaving their property wide open to being stolen".
