Caravan Channel to feature at national show

Visitors to a national caravan show will be able to speak to those behind the making of a specialist television show that focuses on the world of outdoor camping.

The Caravan Channel, which is broadcast on Sky, Freesat and over the internet, will host its own stand at the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show to be held at Birmingham's NEC arena.

As well as uploading daily video reports and broadcasting live from the venue, the programme's production team will be interviewing managers and personalities from the leisure industry.

The show runs from February 17th to 22nd and is expected to attract large numbers of caravan insurance holders and outdoor camping enthusiasts from across the country.

Chris Gosling, the Caravan Channel's producer and presenter, said its makers were keen to make the most of the chance to meet viewers of its programmes and help further promote outdoor leisure activities.

"Our fortnightly programmes are 100 per cent aimed at the two million or more people who go camping or caravanning regularly, and they also help to provide an introduction for people who'd like to get involved," he commented.

The National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show will take place over five halls of the NEC arena and features on-site camping facilities that allow visitors to park up their motorhomes and stay overnight.
