A treat for Scottish motorhomers
Scottish residents with a passion for caravanning might want to make their way to Glasgow in a few days' time to attend the region's Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show.
Running from February 5th to 8th, the show - held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow - may appeal to caravan insurance holders looking to invest in a new model or just find out more about their hobby.
There will be opportunities to learn how to manoeuvre a caravan in 20-minute taster sessions and children will be able to take part in various activities, such as drawing competitions, face painting, balloon modelling and magic tricks.
Additionally, cooking demonstrations will be given four times a day by chef Billy Walker and the chance to sample fine wines will be offered daily at three intervals.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds will be present at the event to give those present information on bird-spotting while on caravanning trips, while Towsure promises to offer products at last year's prices.
Meanwhile, Scottish radio station Clyde 2 is giving attendees the chance to win an outdoor family holiday worth over £3,500, including camping and caravanning equipment.
