Former Atomic Kitten and reality TV star Kerry Katona might want to invest in a good caravan insurance policy to cover the second-hand vehicle she plans to buy in Wales.

The News of the World reports that the 28-year-old and her husband Mark have found a used caravan at the Preshaven Sands Holiday Park in Prestatyn and are intent on making it their own.

A source close to Kerry told the paper that the celebrity is delighted with the caravan and does not care if people call her trailer trash.

"She's not the kind of person most people would expect to see sat in a deckchair with her trousers rolled up, but after the problems she's had she needs to be a bit more careful with her spending and the caravan is the perfect solution," they added.

Kerry, who is the face of Iceland's televised frozen food adverts, was declared bankrupt last year after failing to settle tax arrears.

But the bipolar sufferer recently underwent a public transformation, going under the knife to reduce her weight and investing in a personal trainer to lose the remaining stubborn pounds.
