Caravan owners gear up for races

Caravan owners hoping to attend Angmering raceway this coming bank holiday might want to ensure their caravan insurance is up-to-date before participating in any races.

Monday April 13th will see the West Sussex Oval Race Club course play host to motoring action when the caravan racing begins.

The day has been organised to include races between motorhomes, in addition to ladies production stock car feats and reverse racing from the "fender-bending" nudge and spin Bangers, the West Sussex Gazette reports.

Racing season got underway at the track recently when various teams took to the course on Sunday March 22nd.

These included the Junior Rods, Production Stox and Saloon Rods, the publication reports.

While some of the events resulted in "destruction derby"-like madness, this may be nothing compared to the motorhome racing planned for the bank holiday, with the publication suggesting that the event will amount to "general automotive mayhem".

Racing will start at 11:30 GMT and admission is £10 for adults, £5 for children aged between ten and 14 and concessions for senior citizens, students and the disabled, caravan insurance holders may be interested to read.
