Free health checks for caravans are being offered by the Discover Leisure store in Evesham to promote safety this Easter.

Caravan owners can take advantage of the offer any time before April 26th but with heavy traffic expected on the roads this Easter, they are being encouraged to do so as soon as possible, reports the Evesham Journal.

A store spokesperson told the newspaper: "Discover is welcoming everyone to come down and take advantage of our free comprehensive health check on any caravan or motorhome to ensure a safe and happy holiday this Easter."

Caravanning was an ideal way for families to spend time together outdoors but maintenance checks were needed to stay safe, he added.

And the family friendly company is also offering parents the chance to keep their children happy this summer.

A new information service by Discover is providing tips on events, recipes and cycle routes that are suited to kids.
