Mobile home helps Russell flex his muscles
Actor and musician Russell Crowe has jumped on the caravan bandwagon and is using three mobile homes while working on the set of his new film.
Star of the forthcoming Robin Hood film, the 44-year-old has reportedly converted one of the mobile homes into an on-set gym, but he might want to ensure he invests in caravan insurance for the vehicle as the equipment inside is believed to be worth £80,000.
According to the Daily Mail, Crowe has had apparatus including weightlifting equipment and a cycling machine installed in the motorhome by film producers.
Working out should help the actor to maintain his physique, which he developed by dieting and training before filming began.
A source on the set told the publication: "Russell's a professional. He knew he was cast to play Robin, not Friar Tuck."
The actor has previously starred in films that required him to tone up, such as Gladiator.
He also has a musical career as the lead singer and guitarist of Australian rock band 30 Odd Foot of Grunts alongside his acting work.
