Berkshire to host mobile home show

Caravan insurance policyholders could be among the mobile home enthusiasts set to make their way to Berkshire this weekend.

The county's Newbury Showground is to house the Southern Motorcaravan Show over May 15th, 16th and 17th, marking the event's 27th year in operation.

Visitors to the event will be able to buy their tickets at the gate from now on as pre-booking has closed, with tickets available from £30.

The event is set to see mobile home makers showcase their newest vehicles, while a range of used models will also be on offer for those looking to invest in a lower price option.

Enthusiasts are expected to attend the show in their thousands as the event is well-placed for easy access both from the south of England and the Midlands.

However, caravan owners who cannot get to the show could always book their places for this year's International Caravan and Motorhome 2009 event in October, to be held at Birmingham's NEC Arena.

The show will run between October 13th and 18th and will showcase 2010 models as well as a range of trailer tents, awnings and holiday home accessories.
