Free breaks for caravan buyers

Britons thinking of investing in a new mobile home this year could find the deal is sweeter if they buy a model from Blackmore Vale Leisure.

The family firm based in Dorset has come up with an ingenious way of aiding caravan sales and providing caravan insurance holders with value for money with its latest initiative - offering buyers a free holiday.

Caravan Magazine reports that the firm is promising a free break in the UK to customers who purchase a touring or mobile home during June.

As part of the deal, consumers will receive a complimentary weekend stay at the firm's caravan site, as well as lunch at a local restaurant.

According to the publication, the firm boasts a handpicked selection of caravans and offers full working demonstrations on mobile homes with awnings up to help customers understand how to use their vehicle.

Findings by VisitBritain highlighted that around half of Britons planning an Easter break chose to holiday at home for the last summer bank holiday last year.

The trend has continued this year as the credit crunch and weak pound prompts consumers to tighten their belts and take breaks at home.
