Caravan insurance policyholders with charitable leanings are being invited to put themselves forward for a role based in Suffolk.
Charity The Rural Coffee Caravan Information Project has announced that it needs people to tow its two-berth caravan around villages in the county so that it can continue its useful work.
The charity works by taking the mobile home to areas filled with tea, coffee and cake and provides information about organisations and services in the different areas, reports the Diss Express.
"Full training is given, expenses are paid, there's delicious cake while you work and we get out and see villages all over the county," commented project manager Ann Osborn.
The role could be just what kind Britons need to get out and about and enjoy the summer weather from the comfort of a caravan, while also helping to bring communities together and offer information on joining clubs or starting hobbies.
Operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the caravan scheme runs between April and October, with locations in Gazeley and Herringswell recently confirmed for June, July and August.
Over the coming days, the caravan will be travelling to Ringshall, Bruisyard, Thorpeness and Kelsale.
