A firm that provides caravan equipment is set to increase its stock in time for next summer as Britons increasingly opt to holiday at home.
Speaking to the Financial Times, Halfords has said that it expects sales of its products to be strong in the coming weeks, following a successful promotion recently that saw amazing results.
The company also sells camping goods such as tents and is optimistic about sales in the short-term future.
"Our priority for this year is very much around camping, and roof boxes and trailers," commented chief executive David Wild.
According to the publication, the firm will increase its range of mobile home equipment for next summer, which may please caravan insurance policyholders looking to prepare themselves for British breaks.
The impact of more people choosing to holiday at home has also recently been highlighted by caravan part maker Asgard Secure Steel Storage posting increased interest in its products.
Speaking to the Bradford Telegraph, the company said that demand for parts among static caravan manufacturers has increased in recent months, with the firm expecting to almost double its annual turnover as a result.
