The Adria Altea 390DS caravan has been named as a good choice for families looking for a lightweight model combined with value for money.
Reviewed by Caravan magazine, the offering - which costs £8,695 - is a four-berth model that doubles as a semi-fixed bed touring vehicle.
According to the publication, consumers will struggle not to be captivated by the van's "cute-as-a-button looks", as the vehicle appears to be much more expensive than it actually is.
With a body width of just 2.07 metres, the mobile home is compact enough for caravan insurance policyholders who have restricted driveway access at home.
Designed for three-season use only, the model features a four-person dinette up front that converts to a semi-permanent bed, with the section blocked off at night via a screen.
The magazine suggests that its readers have long asked where they can find light and affordable four-berth caravans.
"Vanners have been asking for this, so let us hope that people will now buy it," the publication states.
Earlier this month, the magazine reported that prices for the Airstream Bambi 422 have been reduced until the end of August, with caravan insurance policyholders able to get their hands on the tourer for £29,950.
