Caravan insurance policyholders having considered taking in a performance of the play The Caravan might want to watch a televised review before buying their tickets.

Produced by theatre company Look Left Look Right, the play - performed in a caravan - deals with the summer floods of 2007 that forced many consumers into mobile homes as their properties fell victim to the torrential rains.

June 19th will see the play mentioned in Newsnight Review on BBC2 at 23:00 BST after being watched by presenter Kirsty Wark in Huddersfield.

"On this week's programme we're looking at the theme of migration and how it's expressed by all sorts of displaced people. It's not just about immigration, it's about migration within communities," she told the Huddersfield Examiner.

"This play looks at what happened in the floods when people were forced to migrate from their normal comfort zones."

Ms Wark added that the cramped location is not the smallest venue in which she had seen a performance, having once taken in a play at the Edinburgh Festival in the back of a van.

The play was previously put on in London's Sloane Square, which the caravan occupied, inviting passersby to watch the performance and develop their understanding of the events.
