A classy new mobile home could appeal to caravan insurance policyholders who like to live in luxury.

The Buccaneer Caravel is a luxury model with a £22,495 price tag and a width of 2.3 metres.

According to Caravan magazine, the model boasts a beauty that is more than skin-deep, extending to "thoughtful touches" like an offside light to illuminate the water point and a light on the A-frame to highlight the gas locker.

The 2+2 berth offering is 7.96 metres long and has a "sharp" body shape and a delightful interior with quality one can "almost taste".

Darkened windows add privacy and the remote-controlled roof light can sense rain and closes automatically.

The kitchen is user-friendly and boasts an enormous fridge freezer and plenty of cupboard space, but the model's testers felt it should be fitted with a mains hotplate and additional luxuries such as a solid wood partition door to the bedroom considering the price.

"Overall, the Buccaneer is a superb range-topper," the publication commented.

The magazine also recently reviewed the Gobur Carousel Clubman - a hand-crafted model priced at £17,895 that folds flat to allow for easy storage and towing.
