Details of the newest version of a luxury caravan, due to be released next year, have been released by Caravan magazine.

Lunar Caravans' 2010 models have been reported by the magazine, which includes details of the new Clubman SE.

Caravan insurance policyholders could be tempted to buy the new model when it is released onto the market next year, thanks to the high quality and impressive range of features Lunar is planning to provide in it.

The new version is to have an interior layout almost identical to that of its successful Lexon SE caravan, which has proved a hit with consumers and caravan insurance holders thanks to the spacious feeling created inside.

The Clubman SE comprises a nearside fixed-bed, centre kitchen and end washroom, the magazine reports, which is an unusual layout for a single-axle caravan.

As Lunar continues to offer high quality and focuses its efforts on style, the new model will also come complete with an Alde Wet central heating system, a heated towel rail, a satellite television connection point and low voltage, cool touch LED internal lights.

Meanwhile, car manufacturer Volvo has created Trailer Stability Assist technology, which it says is designed to help drivers when pulling a caravan.

The technology helps reduce the risk of a caravan wobbling during a journey and can cut the amount of swaying across the road that can occur when a caravan is travelling behind a car at speed.
