Van vendor makes mark in Morocco
The Volkswagen Van Centre of the Year awards have recognised Norwich-based Robinsons Van Centre, awarding it the runner-up prize in a ceremony in Morocco in March.
The competition considered all 67 of the Vauxhall Van Centres in the UK, ranking them for customer service. The judges paid tribute to Robinsons Van Centre's enthusiasm for the work and its van rental service.
Catering for many different users, vehicles include panel vans and people carriers, with a Caddy van starting from £37 a day to hire. There is even a 'bridging' van available, offered to customers while waiting for a new van to arrive and replace their old model.
Robinsons' commercial vehicle brand manager, told the Eastern Daily Press: "A van is often the most important tool a businessman will own so it needs to be good value for money, cost-effective to run, represent the right image and be available for use as much as possible.
"With the range of vans and financial options we offer we can turn these luxuries from an ideal scenario to a real scenario."
He added that Robinsons was "very proud" to have reached the finals of the competition.
As vans can be so essential to the smooth running of a business, cheap van insurance should be a priority when purchasing any commercial vehicle. Compare premiums and consider your own needs, such as whether you will require a replacement vehicle in case of an accident. You can often find cheaper van insurance if you shop around before reaching your decision.
