New Volkswagen to take the stand
Volkswagen's newest and largest van in the commercial vehicle category, the Crafter, will make its first international appearance at this year's Commercial Vehicle Show at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
On April 25th, the first day of the show, Vauxhall's Dr Bernd Wiedemann will give a short introductory speech to the five tonne panel van, equipped for carrying up to 2,670kg.
Transport News Network reports the van will be advertised with the slogan 'prepare to be rocked', emphasising its robust qualities and distinctive solid appearance.
There are four five-cylinder engines to choose from, 88, 109, 136 PS and 163 PS, with three wheelbases and roof heights available to suit the unique demands of each business. It can also come as a panel van, double cab van or chassis van.
Although the Crafters on show in Birmingham will be limited to left-hand drive machines, a right-hand drive version is expected to be available as early as September.
With all the options the Crafter presents, you should be sure to arrange your cheap van insurance as sure as soon as possible. For all its rock-like characteristics, accidents do happen, but cheap van insurance can minimise the cost.
The cheapest van insurance can be found by shopping around and taking advantage of any discounts on offer.
