Brits looking for a bargain break this summer have been advised that a caravan holiday won't break the bank by one expert.
According to The Mirror a four-night caravan holiday can be an action-packed adventure perfect for families with children of all ages.
Journalist Gill Murr took her family on this kind of break in Dorset and was impressed with the range of activity the caravan park she stayed in had to offer.
Ms Murr, who may have needed caravan insurance for her break, wrote: "What was great about this holiday is that you could dip in and out of activities as you pleased.
"There are kids' clubs catering for all ages - even a teen chill-out zone Younger kids will love Annabel's Creative Kitchen, where you decorate cakes and biscuits."
She also advised other caravan insurance customers and holidaymakers to use the park they are staying in as a base for exploring the local region.
During her break, the family ventured out of the park to the Chesil beach, which was formed at the end of the last ice age, and took a scenic two-and-a-half mile coastal walk to Weymouth.
Meanwhile, talks are now underway for the building of a new caravan park in Wilton Lodge Park,
Harwick, giving holidaymakers more choice in destination.
