Citroen - ready, willing and able

"Ready, willing and able" is Citroen's motto for its stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham.

The slogan is meant to represent the French car manufacturer's comprehensive range of commercial vehicles, that are "willing and able to meet the rigorous demands of today's hard-working business and professional van operators", reports easier.

Citroen's centerpiece at the show will be the Berlingo Action Van - a tuned commercial vehicle that comes with 18" alloys, a lowered suspension, spotlights and a ten speaker sound system with a 1,000 watt amplifier.

However, for the more casual van driver, the rest of the Berlingo range has also been expanded, with a XTR+ traction model now available.

It comes with a 600kg payload and a 2.0HDi diesel engine delivering 90hp.

The enhanced traction 2WD van is unique in the market and will be on sale from next month with a price of £12,045 plus VAT and delivery. Cheap van insurance is available separately from a number of suppliers.

The Ready to Run range will also be making its debut at this year's Birmingham show.

These vehicles are specialist bodied vans, including a high specification Relay Luton van, which was constructed by Buckstone Motor Bodies and a new Relay car transporter.

Robert Handyside, commercial vehicle operations manager at Citroen, said: "Citroen is totally committed to providing a range of light commercial vehicles which meet the widest possible range of operational requirements."
