According to the Press Association, this year's Vanfest at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern was the largest meeting of Volkswagen (VW) vans in the world
Festivalgoers, who may have included caravan insurance policyholders, were treated to entertainment from headliner acts the Commitments and the Brian Collins Band.
The weekend of activities included the ever-popular Cooking in a Camper contest, where competitors have to cook up a three course meal in less than an hour using only their on-board stove.
A number of other talks and displays were also on offer, including adventurous campers describing their experiences of taking vans to exotic locations in the Well Travelled Transporters.
Last week saw news the multi-millionaire footballer Rio Ferdinand had opted for a caravan holiday in North Wales.
The England international stayed at the Presthaven site in Prestatyn and spared no expense with his choice of the top-of-the-range Prestige caravan priced at £400 for a weekend.
