Caravan channel celebrates 3rd birthday
Breaking news provided by onequotedirect - specialists in caravan insurance

October will see one of the UK's most specialised television programmes mark three years of continuous production.
The Caravan Channel's first edition was aired by satellite broadcaster Information TV, followed by 76 fortnightly half-hour shows.
Producer and presenter Chris Gosling said: "We started from a very low base. I had the most basic equipment, some knowledge about TV production, a good grounding in work-a-day journalism and reporting and a couple of years caravanning experience - it all started from there."
The programme now covers all the UK's major caravan and motorhome events and Mr Gosling estimates viewing figures to be as high as 100,000.
Caravan insurance policyholders may have been among the viewers for one recent highlight - two online video reports about the new Bailey Pegasus range, which coincided with their launch.
Mr Gosling credits caravanners' "massive response" with the programme's success: "On campsites, people come up for a chat; at show and exhibitions, we can be inundated with visitors, and our Facebook and Twitter pages get lots of views."
The Caravan Channel is broadcast on Information TV, Sky channel 166 and Freesat 402, at 19:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with a new programme every two weeks.
Those without satellite access can join the channel's online forum where they can discuss everything from new caravans to the UK's best parks with fellow enthusiasts.
