Caravan insurance policyholders in Malvern can enjoy a good feed while helping support charity this weekend.
Mobile home dealership Leisure Solutions, based in Welland, is to hold a hog roast on Saturday (October 3rd) to raise money for Help For Heroes.
The Malvern Gazette reports that the event will run from 09:00 GMT until 17:30 GMT in a bid to generate funds for the charity, which provides support for Armed Forces personnel injured during conflict.
Initially, the roast was organised for the dealership's business suppliers and customers, before staff had the idea to open it up to the public in the interests of charity.
"All we're asking for is a donation for Help For Heroes, which is a very good cause," commented the company's Mike Lake.
The charity is currently using grants to create a series of regional Recovery Houses across the UK to allow for the rehabilitation of serviceman and women before they return to their units or civilian life. It is hoped that by October 2010, £20 million will have been raised for the project.
Caravan insurance policyholders may have attended a similar event at the dealership last year, in which £350 was raised for local children's charity Kaleidoscope.
