Britons with a passion for holiday homes but not for towing are being urged to consider the benefits of a static caravan.
According to the Birmingham Mail, 2009 has seen consumers flock to destinations across the UK for summer breaks and hopes are high for the forthcoming Caravan & Motorhome show at the NEC Arena.
But the publication suggests that many Britons may not enjoy towing their caravan across land.
To avoid tiresome towing journeys, caravan insurance policyholders could opt for a static holiday home instead to enjoy a "relaxed caravan lifestyle".
The newspaper states that Haven Holidays provides around 35 parks across the UK with many providing customers with the option of investing in a static caravan on-site.
"Deceptively spacious the holiday homes have comfortable living areas with wraparound or free-standing furniture, well-fitted kitchens, two or three bedrooms and separate shower and loo - the more luxurious models come with double-glazing, central heating and even ensuite bathrooms," the publication suggests.
The parks also offer a range of facilities for consumers to use, including spas, lounges and social activities.
A spokesman from the firm recently said that Haven has seen a rise in the number of Britons buying caravan holiday homes.
