A motorhome dealership has achieved remarkable results at the latest International Caravan and Motorhome Show.
Freeborn Group, which has a dedicated Romahome dealership and also sells models by Elddis and AutoTrail, was on hand at the event in Birmingham selling its wares alongside representatives from the Romahome brand.
The company made more than £2 million in sales during the event, as caravan insurance policyholders looked to make the most of prices before the next rise in VAT.
Freeborn Group managing director Andrew Jones commented that the company is reaping the benefits of investing in its facilities, which are based in Godalming and Southampton.
"Motorhome buyers are very loyal so many return to us again and again while the strong demand for used Romahomes also helps owners get good trade-in values to keep new sales buoyant," he stated.
Mr Jones added that Romahome has achieved insulation against the worst of the recession by offering high quality products at affordable prices.
In a recent poll conducted by the International Caravan and Motorhome Show, four in ten mobile home manufacturers and dealers said they had seen higher sales in 2009 than in 2008.
