A motorhome firm has announced it achieved its best ever sales performance at the recent International Caravan and Motorhome Show in Birmingham.
The event saw Romahome double its order books and generate more than £2.25 million in sales during the show at the NEC Arena.
Caravan insurance policyholders may have flocked to the event, which saw a ten per cent increase in visitors this year.
Of its models, the most popular Romahome was found to be the firm's latest offering - the R25. In total, the company sold 32 models, with its single berth R10 vehicle proving to be the second most popular among consumers.
"It's a fantastic achievement for us when many motorhome manufacturers are still groaning under the weight of the recession and a drop in sales," said the company's managing director Brian Bailey.
Staff at Romahome are apparently working overtime to cope with booming business.
Mr Bailey went on to say that the doubling of orders will be a nice early Christmas present for the firm's workers at the factory in Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
The firm was voted best motorhome manufacturer by Practical Motorhome magazine earlier this year and was presented with the publication's Gold Sovereign award.
