A new report has named a Whitby mobile home holiday park as one of the UK's best places to watch the sun rise.
According to the Guardian, visitors to Saltwick Bay should walk down to the shoreline to see a spectacular natural phenomenon at dawn.
Between May and late July, a double-sun effect is created every morning at the spot, as if the sun is both rising and setting.
Just down from Whitby Holiday Park, caravan insurance customers staying in the area can also see some unusual rock formations - such as the pillars of Black Nab and Saltwick Nab - plus the wreckage of a fishing trawler.
The newspaper advises visitors to check the tides before they venture down to the beach, avoiding the stone shelves except at low tide.
Situated on the cliff top overlooking Saltwick Bay, the park is just a few minutes drive away from the historic harbour town of Whitby.
In addition to holiday homes available for hire or purchase, the site also offers fully-serviced touring pitches for those who would prefer to use their own vehicle.
