The importance of investing in caravan insurance to provide peace of mind and financial support has been highlighted by a recent fire in Redbourn, Hertfordshire.
Earlier this week, a fire was started at the area's Ver Meadows caravan site and firefighters were called to the park in the early hours.
The blaze saw a car and a caravan go up in flames.
Later on, the fire officials were called to the area again to tackle another inferno about and hour and a half later when a second caravan was set alight.
Both mobile homes were thought to have been uninhabited at the time.
An investigation is now underway and the blazes are being treated as suspicious.
In related news, a burnt-out caravan was recently discovered in a remote spot in North Yorkshire. Police said it was too early to say whether the blaze had been suspicious or not.
A further incident was reported towards the end of October at Glan Gwna Country Holiday Park, at Caeathro, near Caernarfon, Gwynedd, in which a caravan was destroyed by a fire after clothes were left too close to a gas heater when its occupants were out.
