A new website aimed at caravanners and motorhomers around the UK has been launched by a mobile home specialist.
Television production firm Serious Leisure TV has unveiled its new website today (November 9th) in a bid to provide caravan insurance customers and their fellow mobile home fans with relevant advice and information.
Speaking ahead of the launch, producer Chris Gosling said strong contacts with the caravan industry and a long-standing relationship with existing viewers provides the ideal platform for the site's development.
Caravanningnews.net offers a mixture of text and video content - much of which is sourced from the Caravan Channel show.
"Making a fortnightly TV programme generated huge amounts of video and this site gives us another interesting way in which to use it," explained Mr Gosling.
In related news, caravan sites across the UK have scored well in the latest tourism figures from domestic travel body VisitBritain.
Cannock Chase in Staffordshire and Delamere Forest in Cheshire have both been upgraded to five stars, taking the total number of five star sites on the Camping and Caravanning Club's network to 19 out of 109, reports Caravanningnews.net.
