Voters for the British Travel Awards have declared Cornwall to be the UK's best holiday spot.
Taking the top spot in the Best UK Holiday Destination category, the county beat last year's winner the Lake District into third place, while London took the silver prize.
According to the BBC, tourism accounts for around a quarter of Cornwall's economy, with the industry being the region's largest employer.
Caravan insurance customers may already be familiar with the area's holiday parks such as Mullion, which is located close to Blue Flag beaches and is a short drive away from the Eden Project attraction.
Winner of a British Holiday and Home Parks Association silver medal, the site offers a range of caravans and lodge-style accommodation, or spaces for holidaymakers to park their own tourers.
Local tourism body VisitCornwall claims the county boasts the longest stretch of coastline in the UK, including more than 300 beaches.
Conservation charity the National Trust owns and protects more than 220km of the coast, ensuring it remains intact despite the arrival of millions of visitors every year.
Culture fans could visit the Cornish town of St Ives to see the Tate gallery and the Barbara Hepworth museum, based in the artists' former home.
