A caravanning membership body is celebrating its fifth year working alongside a national wildlife charity.
The Caravan Club has leant financial support for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), while ensuring species stay protected on the organisation's sites.
Caravan insurance customers may already be aware of the club's role as champion for the song thrush.
The mobile home membership organisation points to recent RSPB research revealing numbers of the species increased by 25 per cent in the mid-1990s, despite a former long-term decline.
Spokesperson for the body Emma Crosby said: "We've got over 200 great sites in fantastic locations for wildlife and we are committed to encouraging species diversity on them."
A recent statement from the charity reminded Britons RSPB nature reserves are not just for birds and urged visitors to look out for rare plants, fungi and other animals.
