Award-winning caravan dealership Read Caravans in Blackburn has announced it will add to its facilities with an aftersales centre.

Last month, the firm was crowned Caravan Dealer of the Year by Practical Caravan magazine and the company is now building on its success with the addition of the new premises.

Potentially set to draw in even greater numbers of caravan insurance policyholders following its award win, the firm is upgrading to the new site, which is only two minutes away from its current headquarters.

The new facility will span more than 10,000 square feet and boast a 12-bay service centre and ten-bay body shop.

As well as a large, modern reception area and customer lounge, the new premises will also offer 2,400 sq ft more space for storage of spare parts.

The firm has said the first phase of the transition will be to move its current body shop into the facility before Christmas, followed by the second phase in January to move the aftersales and service centre to the new premises.

"Along with winning Practical Caravan's 2010 Dealer of the Year [award], this also shows our continued commitment to customer service and our drive to provide the best aftersales service possible," Read Caravans commented.
