A caravan site on the Yorkshire coast is celebrating after winning an award.
Lebberston Touring Park in the village of Lebberston, north Yorkshire, scooped the Caravan Holiday Park of the Year accolade in the Moors and Coast Tourism Awards at Scarborough Spa recently.
Speaking to the Filey and Hunmanby Mercury, the mobile home park owners Mark and Jane Bozeat said they were "amazed" by the win.
After running the site for 11 years, the couple said the award is the perfect end to what has been a successful year for the business.
"The park has been a five-star attraction from the day we started and have been highly commended in awards in the past, so to win them for the first time is great," commented Mrs Bozeat.
She added that the season had been good in 2009 with plenty of nice weather and happy customers and the couple are now looking forward to next summer.
Last year's winner Jasmine Park in Snainton was highly commended during this year's ceremony.
In other recent awards, a number of Camping and Caravanning Club caravan sites scooped top ratings in the Loo of the Year Awards 2009.
