Caravan insurance policyholders who enjoy travelling to sites at Park Coppice, Cirencester and Cherry Hinton are among those likely to see positive changes to their destinations in 2010.

The Caravan Club has announced it plans to improve its sites in these areas, as well as parks in Burford, Looe and on the Isle of Wight.

A site at Park Coppice is to undergo redevelopment at a cost of £2.6 million that will see the three toilet blocks refurbished, three new play areas built and improvements to access and drainage.

Meanwhile, enhancements will also be made at the Isle of Wight's new Southland site, including the addition of 31 new hardstandings and a toilet block refurbishment.

A number of other parks will also see their sanitary provisions upgraded, while Cirencester Park Caravan Club Site will gain a recycling area and larger vegetable preparation and laundry facilities.

The club advises caravanners that some sites will be closed for a short while the work is carried out.

Last month the club listed a number of potential new year's resolutions for caravan insurance policyholders to consider, including regularly checking tyre pressure, measuring a caravan's noseweight and planning routes in advance to avoid congestion.
