One man from Oddington in the Cotswolds has come up with a unique way of keeping his caravan busy all year round.

Robin King has managed to transform his five-berth caravan into a cinema, to ensure that even during the depths of winter there is always a good reason to be in the caravan.

The caravan is kept in his back garden, reports the Cotswold Journal, meaning he does not need to travel far to view his favourite films in luxury and allows him to spend time in his caravan even when the weather makes driving difficult.

With weather forecasters predicting snow for large swathes of the country over the coming weeks, many people may choose not to take their caravan on a holiday trip, in order to reduce the risk of having to claim on their caravan insurance.

However, Mr King will be one caravan owner who will be spending plenty of time in his caravan over the festive period.

Mr King's cinema even includes two cinema seats rescued from a local cinema, the newspaper reports.

Meanwhile, caravan owners in Winsford, Cheshire, may be able to find cheap caravan insurance easy to come by in the future after a new Caravan Watch scheme was launched, the Winsford Guardian reports.
