Events at Angmering Raceway this coming weekend could have caravan insurance policyholders wincing as they watch numerous mobile homes pulled around the track at high speed.

The second annual British Caravan Grand Prix is set to take place at the West Sussex circuit on January 10th.

But the event is not for the faint-hearted, as caravan insurance policyholders look on to see the mobile homes racing against one another before being smashed to smithereens in a destruction derby.

Consumers attending the event will also be able to catch sight of stock car racers, with the juniors taking to the track aged between ten and 16, with other attractions including the nudge and spin bangers and the hot rods.

A similar event took place in May last year, with a trophy being awarded to the last vehicle left moving after the smash-up.

Caravan insurance policyholders can expect to pay around £10 for entry to the event, with senior citizens, students, children and disabled visitors able to get concessions.

The circuit is located between Angmering and Worthing and those looking for maps and directions can find them on the Oval Race Club's website.
