Caravan insurance policyholders attending Angmering Raceway on Sunday January 24th might want to look away as a whole host of mobile homes are set to get smashed to smithereens.

The West Sussex track, off the A280, will be home to various motoring activities over the weekend, including stock car racing, street stocks and the nudge and spin bangers, but the caravan event is likely to be a massive draw.

Drivers will tow the mobile homes around the track in the fastest possible time without being broken to bits. Those caravans that survive the chase will then take part in a destruction derby of sorts.

Young stock car racers will take to the track for a number of formulas, including the Minis, for ten to 16-year-olds in vehicles up to 1000cc, as well as the up to 1200cc leg, for those aged 12 to 16, providing entertainment for those whose interests spread beyond caravans.

The event could prove a fun family day out for mobile home lovers on a tight budget, with entry for adults at £10 and children admitted for £5 each, or for free if they are under ten.
