Caravan insurance policyholders attending the forthcoming Boat and Caravan Show at Birmingham's NEC Arena next month could be brushing shoulders with some famous faces.

It has been revealed that well-known interior designer Linda Barker has become the latest celebrity member of the Caravan Club and has agreed to make an appearance at the mobile home event on Tuesday February 23rd, Caravan Magazine reports.

The TV star will join a number of other celebrities at the event, including Countryfile presenter and outdoor enthusiast Julia Bradbury and motorhome fan TV chef James Martin.

Running until February 28th, the show will feature more entry level campervan conversions than ever before, organisers have said.

Meanwhile, caravan insurance policyholders will be able to check out the latest models from a number of manufacturers launching new vehicles this year, including the Swift Group, Coachman, Elddis, Bailey, Rimor and Lunar.

Among the models to be launched will be the the Xplore 302, the Avante 526 and the Crusader Tornado from Elddis, the new Sprite Tourers and new baby model and the 40th Anniversary Special Edition of Elddis' sister brand Buccaneer.

Mobile home fans may also like to take a look at three classic caravans restored by the Swift Group - the Eccles President from 1938, a 1964 Clubman Ten and a 1948 Safari Minor.
