Caravan insurance policyholders could be set to flock to Oxfordshire for their next mobile home holiday as a camping site in the county has been named the best by the AA.
Lincoln Park Farm in Oxfordshire scooped the Campsite of the Year for England title, having previously won the award back in 2002, Caravan Magazine reports.
New developments at the site may have had something to do with the win, including the addition of two indoor swimming pools, a fully-equipped gym and hard-standing pitches complete with full service.
In Wales, Home Farm Caravan Park on the Isle of Anglesey won the award, while the Scotland and Northern Ireland category was scooped by Ballyness Caravan Park in Bushmills, County Antrim.
Following the announcement, the AA has launched its latest 2010 Caravan and Camping Britain & Ireland Guide, which may appeal to caravan insurance policyholders looking for the perfect location for their next holiday. Awards won by sites are mentioned in the guide.
The publication utilises the AA's Pennant Scheme to grade quality and range of facilities at each site and also has a star rating for readers to classify between sites with the same pennant score.
