A book that focuses on retro caravans has been given the thumbs up by a popular British publication.
The Daily Telegraph has named My Cool Caravan as the perfect read for caravan enthusiasts, celebrating all things mobile home-related.
According to the publication, caravanning is undergoing a makeover and fast becoming a popular and socially-acceptable pastime.
"Thanks largely to a band of design geeks and classic car enthusiasts, painstakingly renovated vintage trailers are popping up everywhere, from La Rosa campsite on the Yorkshire Moors, to Vintage Vacations' fleet of revamped Airstreams on the Isle of Wight," the newspaper reports.
It adds that some people are now making use of their mobile homes as offices and guest accommodation, which may provide a cheap way to live or work for mobile home owners who just need to make sure they have adequate caravan insurance to cover the vehicles.
The paper suggests Britons can take the book along with them on a mobile home break and settle down for a read when the weather is wet outside.
My Cool Caravan has a publication date of February 15th and will feature an in-depth look at 30 mobile homes under a number of themes, such as rustic, funky, country cottage and trailer park treasures.
